Our leadership team brings over two decades of combined experience leading services built with AI/ML services.
Sid Rao brings over two decades of technology leadership to his role as CEO of Positron Networks. Previously, he spent over a decade as Director and General Manager at AWS, where he pioneered real-time communication services and launched the Amazon Chime SDK. This technology now supports over 18 million daily active users across applications by Slack (Huddles), Intuit (TurboTax Live), and PayPal (customer service). During the COVID-19 pandemic, Sid scaled his services by an impressive 1,274% in just one week and led an applied science team in developing cutting-edge machine learning models for image segmentation, tonal sentiment detection, packet loss concealment, and audio super-resolution.
Prior to AWS, Sid served as CTO at CTI Group (Holdings), Inc., where his leadership helped transform the company, developing carrier-grade real-time communication applications, including a widely deployed call recording application used by major carriers such as Verizon, Vodafone, TDC, and Comcast. Under his guidance, CTI Group achieved a successful exit valued at $25 million.
Sid began his career at Nortel Networks, distinguishing himself as the youngest employee at age 14. His career also includes a tenure as a program manager at Microsoft Corporation, where he contributed to strategic initiatives.
Based in Seattle, Sid is known for his passion for technology, innovation, and his love for dogs (second only to his wife).

Curtis Hartmann is a standout business leader with a knack for blending engineering, product management, and marketing. As the co-founder and CTO of Positron, a stealth-mode startup focused on scientific computing and cloud infrastructure, he's driving innovation in the B2B SaaS space. Curtis is all about using the latest in big data and cloud tech to build products that not only break new ground but also bring in millions in revenue.
Over the years, he’s held senior roles at companies like AWS, BroadSoft, Genesys, and Cisco. Whether he's deep in the weeds with engineers on software architecture, collaborating with scientists on neural networks, pitching to investors, or crafting marketing strategies, Curtis knows how to inspire confidence and get results.
Curtis earned his Master’s in Computer Science from Union College and his BA in Chemistry from Connecticut College. When he’s not working, you’ll find him hanging out with his wife Jackie and son Lucas in Kensington, MD, or enjoying his favorite pastimes—sailing, mountain biking, and surf fishing.

Leanne Churchward has over 15 years in business development, specializing in strategic acquisitions and team development. She was the former managing partner and VP of Business Development for Three Rivers Operating Company, a private equity backed startup energy company. Over her career, she has been a partner is several startups with sales to both public and private companies.
Leanne’s strengths align company objectives with customer success. She enjoys creating and optimizing the customer life cycle and encouraging product adoption while ensuring customer satisfaction. She holds a BS from Purdue University.
Leanne, her husband, and two boys reside outside the DC area. They love hiking around northern Virginia and spending time together with family.
Leanne Churchward has over 15 years in business development, specializing in strategic acquisitions and team development. Nate Habegger has over 30 years of accounting, finance and back-office operations experience including 20 years with software and technology companies. Nate’s expertise is focused on the establishment of processes to enable companies to scale. Nate has had multiple successful acquisitions and exits over the course of his career.
Nate has a BA in Business Administration from Hanover College and an MBA from Butler University as well as a CPA (Inactive) in the State of Indiana. Nate was twice named Best and Brightest by the Indianapolis Star and is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma Scholastic Honor Society.
Nate lives in Carmel, IN with his wife, Anais, and youngest daughter, Jane. Nate also has 4 adult children, Max, Molly, West and Farrah.
